What a great way to start my Eggy journey in earnest.

Flash back a few weeks and I tuned in to the festival in NH on Nugs.com having no idea who Eggy was.  Their set kicked ass!  Clear Phish influence, big jams, infectious stage presence.  I was an immediate fan.

Next couple weeks I did my research and saw just how many shows they have available on Bandcamp.  Also some recent shows (audio only or livestream) are on Nugs as well.

Anyway in trying to figure out where to start (do I start with the present and work backwards?). I saw that little mini tour opening for Twiddle out west in early 2023.  Those seemed like nice, bite sized morsels of Eggy to digest one at a time.  And with few repeats!

So on to this show, it's a great mini set!  Enough song structure and open ended jamming to satisfy just about anybody.  Tight musicianship while also being loose enough to adapt and act on artistic impulse.  And I have to say, the audio quality of the recording is outstanding.  Much better, i thought, than the boomier-sounding Bloomlight Compilation.  

Can't wait to move on to Tempe and report back!
